We deliver more qualified customers, clients, patients or members to your “virtual doorstep” and help you convert them into long-term buyers.

We publish ads for your business on the search engines. When a customer in your area types in search terms that relate to your business; your ad will appear in the sponsored results. We then can monitor how many people click on your ad; how many phone calls and emails are generated; and how many forms are submitted on your site. This will help you see how many leads your ads generate.

What is Pay-Per-Click? (PPC)

Simply stated, pay-per-click advertising is a means of advertising on the Internet where the advertiser does not pay a fee to place an ad on a webpage, but rather pays a certain amount of money each time someone clicks on their ad and is taken to a page on their website.

How are the ads placed?

We customize a list of relevant and targeted keywords for your business and then we bid on them at the search engines. We budget your money so that your ads appear in the best possible positions.

Why do I need to pay for ads? My site shows up when I search for it.

Your “organic” listing may appear on a search engine results page when you search for something very specific, like your business name. However, if someone searches for a (item you sell) in (your city), we want your link to appear. Using pay-per-click is a way to make your ads appear as high and as often as your budget will allow. Although your website may appear when someone types in your business name, you may be missing out on traffic because customers are clicking on the sites that do appear on sponsored results when they search for what you are offering.

Where will my ads appear?

Pay-Per-Click advertisements from Find It Media can display on major search engines like Google, Yahoo, and MSN as well on their affiliate sites like Ask.com, Netscape, Lycos, Looksmart, Alta Vista, and AOL Search. Find It Media may also display your ads on secondary engines like Miva, 7Search, Enhance, Kanoodle, which will increase the visibility of your ad across multiple engines.

How many keywords can I have?

Although there is no actual limit to the number of keywords you can use in your pay-per-click campaigns, we will do some detailed research to drill down to the keywords that are both popular and cost-effective. In some cases, this might mean using dozens of keywords and in other cases if might mean using just a few.

Can I have any word I want?

Keywords are assigned to accounts and reviewed by each individual search engine. In rare instances, search engines will reject certain keywords due to copyright or trademark infringement. Find It Media does not condone or participate in any unethical account management practices.

What does it cost?

Each account is different, and costs will vary depending on several factors. A Find It Media consultant works one-on-one with each client to determine a budget and campaign focus. Typical small business accounts start at $1,500 a month, and large major accounts can exceed $10,000 a month in pay-per-click advertising.

Is there a contract?

Find It Media firmly believes that we should be responsible for helping our clients succeed, and should be directly tied to that success. We suggest a 90-day trial that will automatically renew for 12 months. If at any time, you are unsatisfied with your account, you can cancel your service within 30 days with written notice.

How many customers search the Internet for my product?

In 2006, over 86% of the U.S. population used search engines during their shopping experience. The number of Internet searches will vary depending on the product, location, and desired advertisement placement.

Are search engine searchers good customers?

Yes! These customers are “in-market” meaning they have actively searched for a product that you sell, and therefore have a high conversion rate in comparison to print and TV advertisements. A recent study found that 41% of US customers used search engines to research a purchase, versus only 10% that used a print ad and 9% that used a TV ad.

How do I track the results of my campaign?

Find It Media delivers a monthly report to each of our clients, outlining numerous PPC criteria such as number of visitors and number of inquiries from your ad placed. A consultant will review these reports with each month continuing to capitalize on your investment.

Do I need to do anything to my website to use this service?

Find It Media campaigns can drive traffic directly to your current website, or we can help you improve your current website with enhanced sales copy, promotional offers and keyword optimization. Such improvements can greatly increase your sales conversion rates.

How can I improve my natural placement?

This can be achieved through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), which is a service Find It Media can advise you on and provide if applicable

Can websites’ built-in frames hurt my search engine rankings?

Using frames makes it more difficult for the search engines to crawl your content and index your pages. This is because the search engines see the frame and not the content. Unless each page is promoted individually, it could take months for the search engines to find your pages. Even if the search engines do find a framed page and index it, unless each page has a navigation array, users who click on your framed pages may not be able to browse through the rest of your site easily.

Your Find It Media consultant can discuss our solution to this problem.

Can search engines read content that is built in Flash?

In general, search engines have difficulty reading Flash animations. This is because Flash animations are seen as graphics and search engines don’t read graphics; they read text. Therefore it’s always a good idea to mix the use of Flash with keyword-optimized text and other images on your web pages. Websites that are built entirely in Flash will have difficulty achieving good search engine rankings without targeted promotion. Your Find It Media consultant can discuss our solution to this problem.

What about the “meta-keywords” tag?

So-called “meta” tags are part of the hidden coding that produces a web page in your browser. The “meta-keywords” tag is one such tag that was important in the early days of the World Wide Web but now is ignored by the major search engines. However, there is another meta tag that is critical in terms of how the search engines list your web pages. Your Find It Media consultant can discuss this tag with you.
Is there a way I can check to see how search engine spiders see my website?

Yes, you can use online tools to check how search engines see your website. Search engines are very sophisticated at picking up your website content, so some spider tools are better than others at demonstrating exactly how search engines will see your site. You can navigate to the following URL http://www.searchengineworld.com/cgi-bin/sim_spider.cgi and enter your website address to see how a search engine will index your site. (Note: you may need to enter the full URL as it appears when you display your website, rather than just your domain name.)
